Step 2
Place the spoke guard (image face down) on a scratch free surface.
Step 3
Align the wheel in the centre of the poke guard.
Step 4
The clips need to be fixed at various positions to hold the spoke guard in place. Decide the best position and place the clip towards the outer edge of the spoke guard, approximately 30 – 50mm from the outer edge.
- Ensure the surface is free of dirt and grease.
- Remove the adhesive backing strip from the clips and fix it to the spoke guard as shown.
- Repeat the process with the other clips.
- Ideally, leave these clips to bond for 24 hours before moving to the next step.
Step 5
To fix the spoke guard to the wheel, the band needs to be secured from one end of the clip over two or three spokes and secured to the other end of the clip.
- Repeat with other clips and bands.
Step 6
The spoke guard fixed to the wheel will look like this. You may use 4 or 5 clips per side.

SpokeGuards Assembly Instructions (Full Cover)
Step 1
Ensure you have received all items as mentioned in the pack:
- A pair of printed full cover SpokeGuards
- A pair of doughnut SpokeGuards
- Ten clips
- Ten bands
- Four Dual Lock Pads (part A)
- Four Dual Lock Pads (part B)
Step 2
Remove protective layer from the doughnut SpokeGuard.
Step 3
Place the doughnut ring on a soft surface with the ridge around the circumference uppermost. Place the wheel on the doughnut with the inside of the wheel uppermost.
Step 4
The clips need to be fixed at various positions to hold the doughnut in place. Decide the best position and place the clip towards the outer edge of the doughnut, approximately 30 – 50mm from the outer edge.
- Ensure the surface is free of dirt and grease.
- Remove the adhesive backing strip from the clips and fix it to the doughnut as shown.
- Repeat the process with the other clips.
Step 5
To fix the SpokeGuards to the wheel, the band needs to be secured from one end of the clip over two or three spokes and secured to the other end of the clip.
- Repeat with other clips and bands.
Step 6
The doughnut fixed to the wheel will look like this. You may use 4 or 5 clips per side.
Step 7
Cut the Dual Lock into separate individual squares. Place two squares together (one part A and one part B) so they interlock with each other with the protective paper on the outside.
Step 8
Turn the doughnut ring over so the wheel is on the floor. Peel one side of the protective paper of the Dual Lock pad and stick it on the doughnut, approximately 20 – 30mm from the circumference of the doughnut. Repeat with the other pads.
Step 9
This photograph shows all the Dual Lock pads in place.
Step 10
Lay the full cover over the top of the doughnut and mark a reference point on the circumference of the doughnut and the full cover. This will allow correct alignment in the next stage of assembly.
Step 11
Once the reference point has been made, remove the full cover. Peel off the protective paper from all of the pads of Dual Lock.
Step 12
Line up the reference points on the doughnut and the full cover, and push the full cover firmly onto the doughnut.
ENSURE the Dual Lock pads are firmly bonded to the full cover. It is advised the leave this in place for 24 hours before attempting to remove the full cover. This will enable the adhesive on the Dual Lock pads to bond fully with the plastic.
Finally
Repeat this procedure with the second wheel and enjoy your SpokeGuards!
